Awards and Honors
- CSIR Technology Award for innovation, 2021. Novel single step catalytic lipid hydroprocessing route resulted in India’s first Bio-Aviation Fuel Flight in India on 27 August, 2018. Globally, this was the first biofuel flight with fuel from a hydrocracking process. Using this technology, a continuous production plant was fabricated locally with in-house expertise to produce Bio-Jet Fuel specifically for the Indian Air Force (IAF) which resulted in the general certification of the fuel for use in aircrafts of IAF.
